LIHP has always been at the forefront of advocating for affordable housing on Long Island.
Elected officials at all levels of government have reached out to LIHP and LIHP has presented and/or given testimony
before many boards, NY State Assembly members, and the Long Island Congressional Delegation.
Many legislative changes are on the horizon that will help facilitate the building and/or redevelopment of affordable
workforce homes.
