The HEMAP program allows LIHP to help homeowners who find themselves in a monetary crisis, where they could lose their homes due to extenuating circumstances beyond their control, such as unexpected illness, job loss or other temporary setback.
Clients who qualify will receive bridge loan funding to bring them current with their mortgage. Arrangements for repayment of the loan are made with the homeowner.
